Education is FUN-damental!!

Lately I’m devouring books, DVDs, and websites for info on wedding photography!

On the DVD front…I ordered Gino Lucadamo’s Wedding Artistry Volume 1 & 2 DVDs. I found both volumes to be worth their weight in gold! I watched one the day I got it, and the other the next day! To say I learned a lot would be an understatement! I’m also more inspired than ever to move into the wedding photography industry and create my own style! Thanks Gino! Websites I’ve been scouring like crazy include FredMiranda.com and of course, Gino’s own DigitalWeddingChat.com(DWC). I just started going to DWC, but the people there are a wealth of talent and info, and seem ready and willing to share it! Thanks again Gino!

I’ve also signed up for a couple of classes at The Julia Dean Photo Workshops. I’d already signed up for them before watching Gino’s DVDs, but I’m now even more glad I did! The first one is a Crash Flash course. I’ve known for a while now that photography is really about how you capture light, but Gino’s DVDs made that hit home for me even more! I’m really looking forward to getting more out of my flash! Okay, actually flashES! I ordered a 580EX from Amazon so that it arrives before the class! I sure wish money grew on trees!

Also, I’m hoping that later this month I’ll get to shoot some engage-
ment photos of my friends Sami & Bob! More on that next time.
