Surgery went well. Recovery is going to go well (I’m putting the power of positive thinking to work!) It was wild how familiar the hospital surgery procedures seemed to me considering it was my first ever surgery. Must be all those episodes of ER I used to watch (back when it was good!) It was surreal being wheeled down the hallway on a gurney; the lights on the ceiling passing over head. I had seen that before, from that very unique angle…but only on TV! Still, it gave me a feeling of deja vu. I was wheeled into my first ever operating room, and again, deja vu! The power of television!
