Back from Phoenix

I had the pleasure of assisting/second shooting a wedding this past Saturday (Cinco de Mayo) with “Photography by JC’s” very own husband and wife team of Jedd and Casi! Since I drove all the way out from Los Angeles (about 420 miles) after work on Friday, I think I’ll call this my first destination wedding! Jedd and Casi were kind enough to put me up for two nights! They took great care of me…boarding me, feeding me, having a huge basket of towels, soaps, shampoos, etc. in my bathroom! I told them I’m going to rate them 5 stars on Expedia! (I think I said it funnier than that.) Breakfast Sunday morning was killer! Eggs, biscuits, turkey bacon, and cinnamon sticky buns! I’m drooling just thinking about it. You probably are too now. Thanks Casi!!!

Yep, it was a great trip…and a really fun wedding! Jedd and Casi were great to shoot with! Creative, laid back, and have a gift for putting the people they shoot at ease! The couple (Becky & Hart) were a pleasure to work with. They were pretty much up for anything. Added bonus…Becky had a truly beautiful, natural smile! I’m pretty sure Jedd got some fantastic shots. I think I got a few keepers myself!

After the wedding, it was off to the home of Gino and Heather (of Story by Photo) for a little Cinco de Mayo food and drink! There were even cigars…happy Cinco de Mayo to me!!! For the record, I fessed up to being a whimpy cigar smoker, so I smoked a “girlie” cigar while Gino & Jedd puffed on manly stogies! …and yet I type here today secure in my manhood…and yes, I enjoyed mine!

Thanks to Gino, Heather, Casi and of course my awesome host for the weekend…Jedd!!! Love all you guys! Come on out to L.A. some time soon so I can return the hospitality!
