The Wedding & Portrait Photographer’s International (WPPI) convention in Las Vegas was great! What was so great about it? Well for one, Trina and I got to meet a lot of really talented photographers who are also great people (like Ral & Danelle of Rad Studio). There were some great speakers as well. My favorite?? Jerry Ghionis! His talk was very inspirational, and watching him actually shoot a bride (even a model pretending to be a bride) is always a treat!
My other favorite part of WPPI? Seeing the amazing new products that I’ll be offering for covers to wedding albums!! They are BEA-YOU-TEE-FUL! Trina and I both fell instantly in love with the new etched metal covers! Fantastic!! There was also the incredible metallic print covers! Wow! …and that’s just the beginning of what we saw! WOW! Feel free to ask me about them!!
The other highlight that has to be mentioned…dinner at N9NE Steakhouse at The Palms! The steaks were superb and the lobster mashed potatoes were, well, lobster mashed potatoes!!! Hmm, and just like that…I’m hungry!
It was a great trip, but it’s good to be home! Having our tail-wagging puppy greet us at the door on our return made the trip complete! My next trip to Vegas will probably be a completely different experience. It will probably in September for my Bachelor Party! I’d promise Trina that I’ll be a good boy on that trip, but I don’t have to. She already knows.
