What a great wedding! What a super nice couple! All of the wedding vendors were talking all day about how nice Mark and Amber are, and what a nice couple they make. On top of that, they had a killer wedding! It was forecast to rain, but they gambled it wouldn’t…and they won that gamble big time! It turned out to be a beautiful day for a gorgeous outdoor ceremony, and a fantastic under-the-big-white-tent reception. Who knew Mark could sing, and sing really well? Wow!
By the way, Amber and Mark’s ceremony and reception were at a beautiful venue, Pala Mesa Resort in Fallbrook. Their on site coordinator, Kendra, was a real pleasure to deal with. Thank you Kendra!
Thanks so much Amber and Mark for letting Trina and I shoot such a love filled wedding, for such an awesome couple!

Kelley and Dan were such an easy to work with, fun couple! They suggested we do their shoot at The Santa Anita Racetrack (despite the fact that they insist that they aren’t really horse people). Santa Anita turned out to be an unusual, and fun place to shoot. It’s actually much more than horses! Thanks Kelley and Dan for the great shoot, and for the after-shoot beer at Dave and Buster’s! Trina and I really enjoyed hanging out with you, and can’t wait to shoot your wedding!

Brittany and Al’s wedding was just amazing to be a part of. No reception, no cake, not even any seats! They had a small ceremony right down on the beach. Their friends and family stood in a semi-circle around them while the were joined together as husband and wife. No frills, just the people that love them and a beautifully simple ceremony. After the ceremony, we got some great romantic’s with the bride and groom as the storm clouds rolled in. A few raindrops weren’t going to scare them – or us – off. When it started to pour, we all decided to finally head for cover! Thank you so much, Brittany and Al, for allowing us into your circle that day!

Just over a week ago, we had to say goodbye to our beloved dog and best friend, Brandy. After a valiant and brave struggle, her cancer finally won. She had the best attitude up until the very end. She had turned 13 last July.
While the loss has been tough on us, Trina and I are very happy that we went out of our way to take many photos of her, and of us with her, in her last weeks. We have so many images we will treasure to go along with all of our wonderful memories of her.
